Interested in having fun while making a real, positive difference in the lives of those diagnosed with dementias or memory challenges? Then join us on June 12 to learn more about the new Brunswick Area Social Engagement Committee with the Alzheimer’s Association.

Committee volunteers plan and present 1 to 2 social activities monthly (nature walks, museum tours, music performances, etc.) for persons with dementia or memory challenges and their care partners in the Brunswick Area (Brunswick, Bath, Topsham, Freeport and surrounding towns).

No special skills required and there is minimal time commitment for this great volunteer opportunity. Please note: We are also seeking those living with Alzheimer's disease to become committee members.

People Plus is the Brunswick Area Senior Community Center and supports an engaged, healthy, and independent life for older adults, while joining others to build community for all ages.
